I have published my first ebook, ‘From Bird Ponds to Monsters: A History of Diabetes’ which tells the story of the history of diabetes diagnosis and therapy, from 1500BC to the present day including the discovery of insulin, which led to a Nobel prize.

Last night James gave an invited lecture on body compositon, diet and exercise at HMS Forward for the Defence Technical Undergraduate Scheme ‘Taurus Squadron’ which comproses of Royal Navy, British Arm, Royal Air Force and MOD Civil Service engineering students.
